In Fall of 2017, myself and two others paired with Mental Health America to create an animated film to urge students to get tested on their site if they think they might have a mental illness. We picked Bipolar as our illness, which was a challenge, because Bipolar is sometimes hard to depict.
I was the director for this project, as well as came up with the idea, wrote the script, and shot and edited the film. The Animator and I also worked together to create designs that were simple and effective.
Mental Health America (MHA) is the nation's leading community-based nonprofit dedicated to addressing the needs of those living with mental illness and to promoting the overall mental health of all Americans.
